MARÍA ROSA & JAVIER
María Rosa and Javier are childhood friends and the founders of Casa González & González.
They grew up together in Extremadura, surrounded by a world where objects had a simple aesthetic, things were passed down, and time moved at a different pace. They were raised among solid furniture, everyday ceramics, natural textures, and the quiet appreciation for things well made.
Later, their paths diverged. Each followed their own vocation, career, and journey through the world — cultivating different sensitivities, rooted in the same soil: a love for simplicity, durability, and honesty.
In 2015, their paths crossed again in Madrid. And with that reunion, the conversations returned too
A friendship, countless conversations, and a place where everything fits.
The talks between friends return — exchanging ideas and experiences about life, about singular journeys, about books, art, and aesthetics.
Little by little, the conversation turns to what it means to live with intention, and how we relate to the objects that surround us.
And so, slowly, González & González begins to take shape.
